is a multimedia journey through the mystique of India. This interactive
multimedia encyclopedia explores the myriad's of popular beliefs and practices,
and colorful ceremonies and rituals that pervade the daily lives of most
Indians. While many of these beliefs and practices may seem irrational
and superstitious today, it is interesting to find out when and why they
originated, how they were perceived, and how they have evolved over time.
India Mystica researches these issues, following them back to antiquity,
giving reason to the mysticism that envelopes the people of India.

Instructions for India Mystica demo
Please make sure to follow the instructions exactly otherwise demo will
not work
India Mystica is a CD-ROM based multimedia title that runs under Microsoft(R)
indows(TM). TheIndia Mystica Demonstration is a 3-minute self-running multimedia
presentation on India Mystica that runs under Microsoft Windows.
Installing the indiaMystica Demonstration
1.The indiaMystica Demonstration is downloaded as a file
named IMD_ARCH.EXE, which is a self-extracting archive.
2.Using the File Manager, create a directory (example
C:\IMDEMO)
3.Move the file IMD_ARCH.EXE to this directory
4.Unarchive the files by running (double-clicking on)
IMD_ARCH.EXE
5.Go to the Program Manager and click on the`File' menu.
Select `New'. Select `Program Item'.
6.In the Description add `indiaMystica Demo'.
7.In the Command Line add `C:\IMDEMO\IMDEMO.EXE'.
8.In the Working Directory add `C:\IMDEMO'.
9.Click on `Change Icon' button. In the File Name for
the icon add C:\IMDEMO\IMDEMO.ICO'. Click OK .
10.Press ENTER to close the Program Item Properties dialog box.
Viewing the indiamystica Demonstration
To run indiamystica double-click on the `indiaMystica Demonstration'
icon in the Program Manager.
To exit the indiamystica Demonstration at any time during the presentation,
press CTRL+Q.
